CosciaMoos Architecture, the award-winning design firm that brought The Poplar to life, used their curated expertise to create The Darien - a perfect complement. The building’s exterior evokes The Poplar’s modern design and color palette with design-forward features, including a sky bridge connecting the residential hallways above an open-air plaza, to foster a stronger sense of community. The Darien’s intricate apartment finishes offer relaxing, neutral tones with natural colors like Shaker gray and Concorde ivory commonly seen in West Coast-inspired designs.

100% wind-generated power making it a full carbon emission-free property.
Each apartment features newly installed windows filled with argon gas and heat-blocking coatings, carbon-free heating and cooling systems, 100% Energy Star appliances, LED light bulbs throughout, and water-efficient dishwashers, washing machines, and toilets.

The Darien is a stunning new collection of residences that embraces the historical elements of The Poplar, with brand-new modernized features in this ground-up development. What started as an adaptive reuse project at The Poplar has since expanded and evolved to help grow the community.
